    Filippo Tappi (Cesena, Italia 1985)

    Born in Cesena in 1985, he lives and works in Bologna, where his artistic production focuses on collective dynamics, ranging from sculpture to printmaking.

    His artworks can depict ephemeral forms and are often linked to an idea of ​​an object and scene.

    In 2010, he founded Typography Testament, a press for rapid editions and artisanal publications. In 2019, he co-founded Nights, a nomadic visual art, robotics and writing collective.

    In 2020, he joined the staff of LocaleDue.

    In 2021, he participated in the MAMbo artistic residency project for "The New Bread Oven" project. In the same year, he curated the new visual identity of Art City Bologna 2021 with Marco Casella.

    He is a teaching collaborator for the Chair of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.

    In 2020/2021, he participated in Baitball 02, Polignano a Mare; Contact (less), PERFORMATIVE.01. MAXXI L'Aquila; The snake ritual, Bagnacavallo (RA); The Hill of Desires, TRAFFIC – Festival of kind souls, San Lorenzo in Campo and Pergola (PU); Sun with teeth [Solo], Ice Cream Shop Dreams of Ice, Bologna; HEART (Cryogenic Underground Observatory for Rare Events), Center for Contemporary Art at the Lucarini Contemporary Palace, Trevi (PG).
